My derm was totally against makeup of any kind for acne, and I know why. See this oil free stuff is a bunch of bull cause the FDA can approve something as oil free or non comedagenic if 70% of its ingredients is ok. So that 30% can really mess you up. I have mild breakouts and for approximately one year now I have been using nightly neutrogena multi vitamin acne lotion. it worked really well but not good enough. I added benzoyl peroxide 5% to the lotion and mixed well. add just enough to make orange color of lotion several shades lighter. Its amazing. this works great and does NOT dry out skin. try this for 2 weeks and you should see a big difference. must be the combo of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide together that makes this work. plus ...
Help! I get big pimples on my chin every couple of months. I dont pick them I just toimitate wash my face and the pimple will shrink fair a bit but it takes months to completely go terrible so I just have a small red lump and it looks ugly because it is there every day for months. I was using 100% pure Aloe Vera Gel to try to get rid of my blackheads and it did help them, but after a month and a half it dried out my skin (which is oily) and I think it threw my skins balance off. With all the vitamins it contains I thought it would be moisturizing and nourishing, but Im not so sure if its truly good for the face now. I stopped using it. The health food store also had this line called Derma C not sure if thats the sofa name. Hello, everyone! I am new to this board- I visit the Weight Loss board daily. For some reason I am breaking out! I havent had this problem in 10 years.
