hey all
just so u know im a 17 year old male

in september of last year i started a treatment of acutane. before this, i tried every kind of topical cream/anitbiotic combination but absolutely nothing worked on my acne

within 2 weeks of using acutane i noticed it improving. the improvement only got better, but it never completely went away. i noticed only mild side effects of the treatment (ie, dryness everywhere, etc.)

the problem is that in february of this year, i stopped taking the acutane. i needed another refill from the doctor but i missed my appointment. i then missed my next schedualed appointment which was in march. my acne has gotten mildly worse since then, and i want to go back on acutane.

so heres the questions:

1#) since i was already on acutane and now i'm going back on it after 4 months, will the effect of it be lessened?

2#) the acne is not as bad as when i started on acutane. i was considering going back to the topical/pill combo but since it never worked before, i was doubting if it would work this time. since i took acutane before, would the effect of this kind of treatment be improved? or the same
