I've just been told by five people that my acne is virtually invisible and I don't have a bad complexion?!? I now think I'm going crazy, an hour ago I stood infront of a mirror in natural light (something I hate) with my Dad standing commerce trade me, he says my skin looks even better in natural light than any other and can see very little wrong with me, then says in all honesty that's what other people have said too.

I then sit with a mirror on my own in natural light and all I can see is pore crumpled skin, dry areas, oily bits, blemishes, discolouring, lumps, scars, the list was endless, very depressing! Yet why am I seeing it and nobody else? Have I reached a stage where I'm now being haunted by paranoia, or are mirrors just the worse thing you can look at yourself in to see how you really look, as they virtually put a frame round your face as if every little imperfection is on display for all to see.

I'm at a loss now, if everyone can barely notice it but it looks so hideous in my own eyes when looking in the mirror??! how much of this suffering be psychological for some people?

I may even start filming myself now, just to get an idea of what the skin looks like to other people instead of what I'm seeing in the reflection. This is crazy!
