I was recently diagnosed with rosacea. Doc wasnt 100% since theres no sure way to test, but looked like I had the symptoms. I have always thought that I had really sensitive skin(which I do) and my allergies caused it. But this year I was really sensitive to sunlight. But, its not just parts of my face that are red. Finally saw a derm yesterday and he agreed that it looks like I have mild roscea. Prescribed metrocream for redness and tetracyline for the few cyst pimples I get along with something called clinac to absorb excess oil. He wants me to try this combo for 2 months and see how it works. I am mainly concerned with my redness. I have done the research on rosacea, and I am fairly confident that I have it. yes, i cured my rosacea, but not completely. I no longer blush and flush red. but my skin has this swelling under my eye. and this area scars real easily and pores are huge! plus this area gets oily very easily.
