The doctor my son finally agreed to see yesterday has prescribed the antidepressant Lexapro for his meth and pot abuse. He has tried several times to quit the meth and probably has been off this time for approximately a month or so. He still smokes pot several or a few times a week. The hope is the with the antidepressant that while he is off the meth the low isn't so low and to calm his anxiety! I am wondering if anyone out there has done this before and what has happened to you if you did some meth or smoked pot while taking an antidepressant. Thanks a worried mom!
