I was on Lisinopril for approximately 10 yrs. Sudenly I developed pins ans needles sensations on my feet, legs, hands, arms and torso. My primary care physician said I must have scabies. This was probably not the case. The dermatoloigist thought I may have shingles. I took antivirals and that did no good. The next doctor sent me to a neurologist thinking it may be MS. All blood tests came out normal. The Neurologist suggested it may be lisinopril. I am off (cold turkey, no replacement med) now for 2 weeks. No improvement yet. I still have the same sensations and also feelings like insects walking around on my skin. I hope this soon improves. Being tortured by stabbling pins and needles is no pleasure. Has anyone had this type of side affect? One Physician suggested it may take a couple of months to see results.
